The two-day workshop on ‘Women’s Land Rights Campaign Framework’ held on September 14-15, 2023, at Proshika HRDC, Koitta, Manikganj, brought together 20 participants from diverse organizations and regions across Bangladesh. Aimed at developing effective communication materials, the workshop focused on advancing women’s land rights and empowerment. workshop objectives outlined by Mamun-ur-Rashid from Badabon Sangho. Expectations were shared via VIP cards, aiming to understand campaign mediums and strategies. Examples of successful campaigns were reviewed, addressing various societal issues and collecting participant feedbacks. Groups identified key areas for women’s empowerment, property ownership and violence-free environments. Materials like slogans, posters, and strategies for dissemination were collaboratively devised. Trust Bank Ltd.’s loan initiative for women entrepreneurs was highlighted and finally workshop closed with a vote of thanks.
