The Training on ‘Active Citizens, Feminism, and Leadership’ held on March 10, 2024, at Bagerhat, aimed to raise awareness about citizenship responsibilities and women’s leadership roles and feminism. Total 23 girls participated in the training sessions covered various topics and facilitated by using participatory approach and methods. Activities included introspective exercises like drawing life cycle mandalas to discuss gender discrimination, exploring citizenship and social responsibility, understanding feminist thought, and defining leadership qualities. Participants were divided into groups to plan social work projects addressing issues like environmental conservation, ending child marriage, sports, training, and elderly care. The training emphasized the importance of active citizenship, gender equality, and leadership qualities to empower girls and create positive societal change.
