Objective of the meeting: To train women on leadership on lands and water-bodies.
An empowering training on leadership of lands and waterbodies was held on 11-12th July 2023 at Kalapara in Patuakhali arranged by the group members of Badabon Sangho. ‘Shiri’ a women land rights networks and group and team members of Badabon Sangho participated in the training session. During training the following topics were discussed and elaborated such as roles feminism play in bringing equality between the two opposite genders, ownership on land, forest, waterbodies, climate change, identifying drawbacks and vulnerabilities of women etc.
Importance of ownership on land and waterbodies of women was explained through games, question answers etc.
