The training session on Organic Farming and Environmental Protection was conducted by Badabon Sangho at their Mongla office on November 7, 2023 for the female farmers. The event primarily focused on organic farming techniques, women’s agricultural rights, and vermicompost production. With 20 women and 1 man took part in the event. The sessions included introductions, discussions on organic farming benefits, role-plays depicting farming methods’ impacts, and insights into organic fertilizers by experts. Challenges faced in organic farming, such as access to resources and market limitations, were also discussed. The training ended with positive feedback from participants. Supervisor suggests program officers d to continue support, monitor and provide necessary resources to help the participants in their organic farming expedition.
