Purpose of the consultation meeting: To plan strategically for 2023-2028.
On a fine day of June 16th2023 a strategic planning workshop for 2023-2028 was organized by the group members of Badabon Sangho at CODEC Training Center in Bagerhat. Group members, team members, group and federation leaders were participators in the workshop.
Needs and problems of fisher-women, their awareness, government’s aids and women’s rights, women’s land rights etc. issues were identified and solutions were discussed.
Female farmers, women associations, women fisher-folk, women’s land rights awareness, adolescent girls’ protection, climate change, stop violence against women and girls, climate change etc were topics which were noted down by the group and federation leaders in order to improve the mentioned areas. Participators expressed their opinions during the planning workshop.
In the meeting women workers were trained in hand-to-hand block printing. They were advised to make money by block print. Women workers were benefited through this meeting.
