The Professional Working Women Forum held a meeting on 30/11/2023 in Ruhitpur, Keraniganj, attended by 16 members, all females. The gathering aimed to educate those who recently acquired visas and cautioned others to follow proper channels to avoid fraud and forgery. During the session, Asma Begum highlighted a passport agent’s demand for extra money, stressing direct contact with passport offices to avoid deception and scam. Members were advised to avoid agents which is at high risk of fraudulent activities. Sanjida mentioned Union Parishad issues and cautioned everybody about agents’ false promises and advised to seek legal aid if necessary. The outcome of the meeting led members to make right decision about passport issue and seek legal supports in case trapped with passport-related troubles and remain watchful against frauds.
