For the period of 21-23 June 2022, a training on `Advocacy and Policy Influencing’ was facilitated for field and management level programme team members and volunteers. The training was organized in Paddakep training centre in Dhaka. This training was facilitated by MDF Training and Consultancy, Bangladesh Officer and supported by Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) of Nuffic Global Development.
In the training, participants were excited to know and link field experiences with sessions’ discussion. Two particular advocacy issues/agendas were discussed in the training were- a) women’s rights to land; b) women fisher-folk recognition by policy and practices. One of the agendas was identified as policy influencing and another one was awareness campaign.
