A discussion session on improving knowledge of adolescent girls’ health and gender equality was held on July 30, 2024 at Mongla office. This session was conducted under Girls’ Programme with the aim to improve knowledge about adolescent girls’ health and gender equality. 14 adolescent girls attended the event. Participants exchanged their respective experiences regarding discrimination and unattended healthcare issues due to gender identity. Session facilitator discussed on gender equality, gender equity and how they contributed in just healthcare and emphasized on equal resource allocation as per gender needs. At the end girls’ group members gained substantial understanding on the above said issue.
