In Bagerhat on November 21, 2023, Badabon Sangho organized a training session for 21 women leaders to equip them with knowledge crucial for their land ownership rights. The session focused on understanding documents like land records and deeds, which raised confidence in women to handle land administration complexities. The session was led by Badabon Sangho and an official Land Surveyor, who was key discussant and raised that many women lack in awareness. It was found in the workshop that 60% of women can identify deeds, and 50% understand porcha. Badabon’s commitment to supporting women in land ownership, coupled with potential government assistance, can create a lasting impact on their lives and empower them to claim their rightful place in society.
