Women Leadership On Land and Water-Bodies’ Training to Women’s Organisation Leaders

Badabon Sangho has organised two (2) days long `Women Leadership on Land and Water-bodies’ training to Women’s Organisation Leaders on 4-5 April 2019. The training was supported by the Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development. A total 12 women leaders were participated in the training. The objectives of the training were, i.e. a) leadership development of women leaders in order to improve control over on land and access to state open water-bodies, b) create understanding on feminism, c) discriminatory attitudes toward women and men leaders in community.

The training was consists of nine sessions include a) interaction methods, b) human rights walks, c) mandala, d) printing, e) role play, f) dreaming, g) feminist thinking etc. The training was facilitated by Ms. Fatema Kabir, Ms. Naima Jahan, Ms. Lipi Rahman who were received Training of Trainer in aboard. Women leaders were enjoyed the training and gained confidence to assist the vulnerable women within public and private land investment.
