Training to Women Farmers on ‘Organic Farming’

A two-day long training session was delivered to 25 women farmers from 24-26 February 2022. The main purpose of this training was to aware women farmers on organic cropping and its benefits. In addition, how to recognize good seeds, fertilizer making, and the harmful effects of chemical pesticides, family nutrition gardening was discussed during the training. There were also a practical sessions on preparing quick compost.

Mainly the training session aimed to provide information and practical knowledge of all the possible ways of organic farming, suitable for the women farmers for earning livelihoods and encourage them to go to the marketplace. Besides the practical training and discussion, facilitators arranged a cultural program, and the participants were actively engaged in that program.
