A group of youth para-surveyors received information and knowhow on Survey 123 ArcGIS based data collection in climate vulnerable areas i.e. coastal belt of bay of Bengal. With the gained knowhow, they will collect the women’s fisher-folk information and homestead location on state land. In future, the team will prepare the map of banded and open state water-bodies adjacent to Sundarban, largest mangrove forest.
Badadon Sangho is a women’s rights and women-led group, working for lower-caste, Dalit, single mothers, separated, widows, divorcees, religious minorities, and girls. It is (a non-profit and non-political organisation) governed by group members and federation.
