The training on ‘Active Citizenship, Feminism and Leadership’ was held on 29 January 2024 at Bagerhat aimed to raise awareness of feminist leadership, citizenship, civic responsibilities, and collective actions among 22 girls.

Four facilitators were facilitated various sessions, addressing themes such as life cycles, citizenship, feminist perspectives, and leadership qualities. Activities included 5 sessions and group works and presentations by young leaders depicting life cycles showing present and future in mind, social accountabilities, who are leaders and what quality they should have, and planning social development projects.

At the end of the training, 4 girls’ groups were coming up with four separate Social Action Project ideas which are clearly linked with feminist leadership and collective actions.
