Training Delivered to Women Leaders on ‘Land Induced Violence Against Women and Girls’

From 6-7 Sept 2021, facilitated training for women group leaders on ‘Land induced violence against women and girls and what would be next steps?’- where a total of 22 group members and leaders were participated.

The training was divided into nine (9) sessions, facilitated by panel lawyers with the support of participatory tools and methods. Facilitators managed the session with a friendly ambiance and such expertise that participants comfortably opened up with their personal experiences and stories of harassment.

At the end of the training, pre & post-evaluation was reviewed. It was found that Women Leaders now have a clear knowledge of the types and natures of violence and particularly good differentiate between “socially accepted” gestures which are indeed violence against women. This training would be continued to deliver with women group leaders in future.
