On the day of International Women Day’ 08 March 2020, we the groups organised three events in Rampal, Mongla and Dhaka expressing solidarity with ‘Women’s Global Strike’. Events includes protest rallies and discussion meeting-where collective voices are raised against gender based violence. Women committee members, activists, journalists, men and boys were expressed their commitment – ‘If women stop, the world stops’.
Badadon Sangho is a women’s rights and women-led group, working for lower-caste, Dalit, single mothers, separated, widows, divorcees, religious minorities, and girls. It is (a non-profit and non-political organisation) governed by group members and federation.
