Group members in Mongla were came together and observed the World Water Day on 22 March 2022. Especially the citizen committee members were attend the rallies in the Mongla port town’s slums. Demanding the sources of drinking water – was the key.
However, availability of the separate bathroom, toilet and safe space for women in the slums were came up in the discussion.
About 145 peoples including 39 group members were participated in the event.
Badadon Sangho is a women’s rights and women-led group, working for lower-caste, Dalit, single mothers, separated, widows, divorcees, religious minorities, and girls. It is (a non-profit and non-political organisation) governed by group members and federation.
