The fortnightly meeting of the Working Women Forum was took place on February 28, 2024, at Ruhitpur, Keraniganj, Dhaka. 15 women working forum group members participated in the meeting. The meeting was to explore opportunities for additional income generation among women while potential issues of their progress were discovered. Held at Badabon Sangho Keraniganj office, members at the meeting shared their interests in various business activities, particularly in fields like sewing and block printing. However, several members expressed desire to pursue sewing and block printing as a way of earning extra money in line with their regular jobs. But lack of proper training was identified as a significant barrier. Following unanimous interest, the participants jointly agreed upon starting a sewing and block batik training program during the meeting. Overall, the meeting served as a platform for women to explore avenues for financial stability and receive support from Badabon for skill development.
