The Annual General Meeting-2024 took place at CSS Ava Centre in Khulna on January 29, 2024. Total 18 general committee members who are elected by the women groups and federation were participated in the meeting. The meeting was presided by the Chairperson Gulshan Ara.
Meeting discussed numbers of agendas and came up with successful decisions. General Secretary highlighted last year’s achievements, learning, challenges and recommendations.
Treasurer presented the annual audit report, underlining expenditures and plans for loan repayment against training center land purchase. General Secretary discussed about next year’s action plan for 2024-25, focusing on women’s rights and leadership development, received unanimous approval. The financial policy and budget for the next fiscal year were presented and accepted. Additionally, decisions were made to expand activities nationwide and appoint two new General Council members. Chairperson Gulshan Ara concluded the meeting with a vote of thanks for insightful discussions.
