Awareness-Raising on Women’s Land Rights Through Jarigaan 2023

On November 05, 07, 08 & 16, 2023, Badabon Sangho organized a Series of jarigaan event at Mongla, Rampal & Fakirhat Upazila in Bagerhat. 800 women and local people attended the event. Jarigaan and folk songs were performed by different performers on the topics of women’s land rights, women’s economic empowerment, women’s rights and freedom, etc. The women present at the event were pleased to learn about women rights and land rights issues through Jarigaan. Badabon Sangho took a commendable and timely step in organizing this Jarigaan event to advocate for women’s land rights.
