Badabon Sangho’s group and federation leaders conducted validation workshop on 16-17 Oct 2024 in Manikgonj. The purpose of the workshop is to assess the annual achievement, collect feedback and recommendations from group members based on their field-level experiences, and explore suggestions for next year programme planning. It is important to mention that Badabon Sangho has facilitated the workshop with groups’ members prior to plan activities annually in Sylhet. Over two days, participants engaged in discussions, group work, and evaluation sessions that provided valuable insights into the last year’s progress and challenges. Members presented their understandings on some tools like courtyard meetings, training sessions, legal aid support, girls programme and women’s agricultural rights. They also highlighted systemic barriers such as unequal treatment, delays in receiving legal assistance, and insufficient focus on indigenous women’s needs. As a result of the workshop, these recommendations were presented in the annual planning meeting and incorporated in the next year activities.
