The key strands of the Women Workers Forum focus on migrant’s workers’ education, strengthening organising among workers, solidarity building among workers in different sectors and locations, documentation of lived experience by the workers and worker-led advocacy initiatives. The five days programme ended with a campaign launching programme with powerful slogans of the migrant’s women workers representative. Being a network members of GAATW, Badabon Sangho has received invitation for regional advocacy planning, where other CSOs from Asia have come and designed the further advocacy.
Women migrant workers’ group member Seline was joined the planning meeting at Nepal for the period of 17-21 August and shared their experience and evidence for further advocacy plan. Lipi Rahman, Executive Director of Badabon Sangho was also joined the planning workshop.
