Training on Ethics, Privacy and Safety in gender-based violence reporting

Badabon Sangho groups’ leaders partnering with The Business Standard has organized training to young journalists, co-facilitators, key team members, and youth activists on Privacy, ethics and Safety’ on 10 May 2025. It took place at the TBS office in Eskaton Garden Dhaka. Sessions focusing on ethical journalism practices and the sensitive handling of gender-based violence cases. Discussion added gender-based violence against women and girls who are settling in slums migrating from climate change affected villages. The purpose of the meeting is to equip entry-level journalists and social workers with essential knowledge on ethical reporting and safe information management especially in case of gender-based violence.
