The project orientation meeting titled “Confront Land Ownership –Induced Gender –Based Violence Against women and Girls”was held at Badabon Sangho training room on December 14 and 15, 2024. The objective of the meeting was to orient participations on the project’s goal, objectives, activities, action plan, and reporting processes, while also gathering feedback from the members.
On the first day, participants engaged in introduction and team-building activities with network members, and grass-root volunteers. The discussions primarily focused on the role of field-level feminist workers and the action plan to address violence against women. Insights and data from field-level experiences were shared through an interactive two-way discussion. Participants shared how land ownership has been impacting on the violence against women and girls and came up with new agendas and way forwards.
