Survey result sharing by girls’ groups, 18 September 2023

The “Sharing of Survey Results by Adolescent Girls” event held on September 18, 2023, Doshani, Bagerhat Sadar, under LCOMS project. The event aimed to present survey findings by adolescent girls to local government, administration, teachers, and parents. The survey highlighted challenges faced by adolescent girls, such as sexual harassment, early marriage, limited access to education and employment. Fatima Afroz Rumki of Badabon Sangho initiated the event, where adolescent girls presented survey results through posters. They appealed for support from local authorities to overcome these challenges. Various speakers, including local government representatives and the principal of Jadunath High School and College, expressed their support and commitment to addressing these issues.
