Group members organized a meeting for providing financial assistance to women farmers’ association members at Rampal in Bagerhat on 28 August 2023. A total of 22 groups member were received cash support in order to purchase agriculture inputs and other essential costs like labor.
After the covid-19, number of women farmers are lost their income and don’t have cash to resume the economic activities further. In the meeting they discussed that the women farmers’ association members will be able to raise poultry and loft their vegetables with this financial assistance. The benefits of organic farming and women establishments were also discussed. The women farmers’ association members are hopeful to do something different.
