Organized round table discussion on Climate Change and SRHR at Dhaka, 22 January 2025

A round table meeting was held on 22nd January 2025 to disseminate the findings of the research documents titled “the Impact of Climate Change on Women and Girls’ SRHR in the Khulna Division’ of Bangladesh” organized by Badabon Sangho. The programme held at the YWCA conference hall, in Dhaka. The purpose of this meeting was to disseminate the findings of the situation of the reproductive health rights of women and girls due to climate change in the coastal belt area. The meeting also focused on learning from other participants who are working on this issue. A total of 40 participants attended the meetings from different civil society organizations, including women group leaders from Mongla, Bagerhat, human rights activists, independent consultants, journalists, academicians, and students from different Universities. The findings were presented by Researcher and independent consultant Saraban Tahura Zaman, Dr. Fauzia Moslem, President of Bangladesh Mohila Parishad, women activists and team members from Oxfam Bangladesh, Manusher Jonno Foundation, and East West University were participated in the round table discussion.
