International Women’s Day 2025 was observed at the field level i.e. Badalgachi and Bagerhat upazilas. The purpose of day observation was to make aware groups members and leaders on women’s human rights, marginalized women’s needs and constraints, and accelerate campaign on violence against women and girls.
In rallies and discussion, eighty-five women and girls were participated. General peoples becoming aware of women’s human rights, negative consequences of early girls marriages while the rallies surrounded the communities. Economic activities and its impact on the women and girls especially early marriages has been discussed widely.
