Our group interventions that are based on feminist principles, which address inequality, discrimination, and power, and have elements of women and girls’ leadership, autonomy, and decision-making. International Women’s Day was one of the interventions that contribute to leadership development. Right after covid-19, there were few feminist actions at the field level. Women groups, federation and network members organise series of events and actions on international women day.
Events include rallies, discussion, outdoor sports, debate and cultural activities with active participation of diverse groups. Women landowners, women fisher-folks, women returnee and girls were participated in the events in Rampal, Mongla, Bagerhat, Dhaka and Keraniganj. Events were turned into the feminist actions and slogans.
