On March 31 2024, girls group in Bagerhat facilitated bi-monthly meeting, where 18 girls members were participated. The purpose of the meeting is to facilitate internal communication and address contextual challenges that girls are faced. During the discussion, participants shared various issues. Rehana Parveen highlighted the challenges of accessing the city due to river crossings, while Irene Turki expressed concerns over the absence of a community clinic, Sadia raised child marriages being taken place with the support of local officials, and Tuli pointed out the corruption surrounding child marriage permits. Nasreen Sultana emphasized the scarcity of dustbins and clean water sources, while Turani from Sundarghona praised collaborative problem-solving initiatives within the community.
Furthermore, meeting discussed about social volunteering projects like environment protection in the Jatrapur primary school, tree plantation in Khan Jahan ali village etc.
