On May 6, 2025, leadership development training was organized to 35 women fisherfolks of Keyabunia under Chila Union. Sessions focused on women’s leadership, covering the definition of a leader, leadership qualities, women’s rights, and challenges and successes in leadership; how to access to fisherfolk cards; access to social safety net schemes; and safeguarding. Through an interactive balloon game, participants learned the value of united cooperatives. Session addressed safe water—its sources, identification, and proper preservation, menstrual hygiene and contextual learning.
