Day Observation in Non-Traditional Way

The International Rural Women Day, 15 October 2019 was observed by the local women in unconventional fashion. Rural women’s skill in cake preparation and outdoor sports were the leading interest to the communities in the event. The daylong event organised with women’s outdoor sports, folk songs, role plays and quiz test. Traditional cake preparation and provision was another attraction for guests and participants. Local elected bodies, journalists, girls and boys participated in the event and recognised the essential skills of women. The event was supported by the Manusher Jonno Foundation and UKAid.  Badabon Sangho provided assistance to recognise women’s skill.
