Women federation leaders and women-led groups’ leaders organized a meeting on 10 March 2025 to discuss about the safety and care agendas. It highlights discussions on key challenges faced by women group leaders when they tried to support vulnerable communities. Communities like religious minorities, indigenous and dalit peoples’ comparatively vulnerable regarding vandalism and politicization. Meeting also discussed about key strategies like group-based approach to responses, which is working during political transition.
By the way of the discussion, women groups’ leaders brought out some care and safety strategies that worked in near past i.e., increased communication amongst members, frequent meetings and visits, connection with wider groups/journalists, and understanding with other women’s rights groups.
