During the period of April 24-29, 2025, Badabon Sangho organized workshops with four girls groups in Bagerhat district in order to discuss about the SRHR and climate change nexus. Total 48 girls were participated in these workshops, sessions included discussions on climate change, how its impacting on the SRHR of girls, social and health barriers they face. In these workshops, participants explored how climate change is affecting girls, especially through health risks, early marriage, and economic challenges. They also proposed solutions such as using renewable energy, safe water use, rain water harvesting and hygiene awareness.
As a result, participants became more aware of climate-related health impacts, the importance of awareness regarding gender-based violence and girls’ leadership.
