Girls team organized a two-day football training program for adolescent girls at Shirin Haque Pilot Secondary School in Fakirhat, held on September 18th and 19th, 2024. This initiative was part of the Girls’ Program, with the objective of providing football training to 26 girls and encouraging their interest in the sport. Due to a six-month gap in training, the initial sessions focused on physical exercise to get the girls back in form. Next week they will be divided into two teams to play matches and learn essential football skills, such as ball passing, saving, heading, and body warm-ups. The heat affected the presence of the girls, and as such the girls expressed a desire to continue coaching twice a week. The team also discussed the possibility of organizing a football tournament in November, with full support from the school authorities. The school authorities assured full cooperation in all matters. The program has already shown positive results, with improved communication and stronger relationships among the girls. Additionally, their physical and mental development has noticeably progressed due to regular exercises.
