Women’s Land Rights Network Organised Training of Trainer (ToT) ‘Women’s Leadership on Land, Water-Bodies and Forest’, 30-31 July 2022

30-31 July 2022, Women’s Land Rights Network organized a Training of Trainers (TOT) at CBCB center for members- 26 participants. The objective of the TOT is to orient WROs on training module so that they can deliver the training at the field level. Women’s leadership on land, water-bodies and forest is the module which will be delivered across the country by 14 women-led and women’s rights organizations including 5 indigenous women-led organisations. In the TOT, team discussed and practiced training tools and methods that are appropriate for ground-level delivery. By the TOT, some methods and tools are reviewed and modified according to the comments of network members.

Each organisation joined the ToT with two participants, women leaders and one team member. It’s a two days long TOT was one of the outputs is achieved.  Sessions includes tools and methods like rights walk, identity debate, games, lecture and brainstorming, etc. Topics like inheritance properties rights, roles of three offices, access to land records, climate change and land use, women’s human rights and landownership, social stories line, etc.
