26 women farmers received training on safe vegetable farming and environment protection

On July 16, 2024, Badabon Sangho organized an awareness meeting titled “Empowering Women in Coastal Agriculture” was held at the Upazila Parishad, Kachua, Bagerhat. Chaired by Rakhi Banerjee (Upazila Nirbahi Officer), the meeting was attended by 48 participants, including local officials, political figures, teachers, NGO workers, journalists, and 20 Badabon Sangho members. The goal was to update participants on the organization’s initiatives in supporting women groups in coastal agriculture. During the meeting, Badabon Sangho activities and future plans were presented and received positive feedback from the Upazila Executive Officer and other dignitaries. They praised the organization’s efforts and encouraged more programs for adolescent girls and trainings on agriculture and handicrafts for women. Results of the meeting included increased awareness of Badabon Sangho’s projects as well programs  among all participants, enhanced engagement in their activities, and positive support from influential figures for future collaboration.
