Badabon Sangho, held an art camp and discussion meeting on November 25, 2023, at the premises of Central Shaheed Minar to raise awareness of violence against women, attended by Dhaka University Fine Arts Department Professor Dr. Farida Zaman, MJF Director Banasree Mitra Niyogee, Badabon Sangho Executive Director Lipi Rahman and Coordinator Mamun Ur Rashid. The art camp featured paintings by 19 students from the University of Dhaka’s Fine Arts department, while the discussion meeting included prominent figures who spoke about economic inequality, women’s safety, and the need for social change. It is part of Badabon Sangho’s 16 days activism against gender-based violence, which is a key part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to create a more just and equitable society for all.
