Women migrant returnee workers observed International Day for the Elimination ofViolence Against Women on December 19, 2024

Women migrant workers forum consisting of returnees observed International Day for the elimination of violence against women at Ispahani Public School and College in Keraniganj, Dhaka. Part of the16 days of activism, the event was organized to promote awareness of gender-based violence amongst the wider population and demand safe and secure migration as well as combat hate speech and stigma against returnees. The day was joyful by facilitating sports, songs, and comics, etc. Total 44 girls, 16 women, and 23 males participated in different events.
