Organized Land literacy workshop with women group members, 26 December 2024

December 26, 2024, a workshop on land literacy was held at Chila Union Parishad, with the participation of fifteen (15) women group members. Workshop was facilitated by the local land officials. The purpose was to enhance women’s understanding of land-related documents and foster better relationships with local land offices. The session covered land ownership rights, documentation processes, and how land offices are providing what kind of services. Participants gained practical knowledge on land boundary measurements, mutation processes, and resolving land disputes. During the workshop women asked a series of questions in order to understand how to deal with land conflict. It is found that most of the questions were coming regarding inheritance properties and its laws.
