Badabon Sangho being a women-led and women’s rights organization took active participation in `16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence’ from 25th November to 10th December. Keeping aligned with this year’s theme, `Orange the World: End Violence Against Women Now’, group members, communities, volunteers and team observed the weeks.

It includes rallies, assemblies and folk songs where members arrange their resources and capacities. They asked services providers to come forward and to discuss what measures can be taken to prevent gender-based violence. Events were organized in four unions including Rajnagar, Joymoni, Betagam Rohitpur and Hurka.  Volunteers and team also joined the national level programme at Dhaka. Different cultural events and sports were also organized to promote messages against gender-based violence.
